Presso il Centro di Ricerca della Fondazione  Sabato 21 Settembre e’ stata inaugurata  la nuova “filiale” della linea telefonica Pronto Alzheimer  in collaborazione con la Federazione Alzheimer Italia.

“Pronto Alzheimer” – a new service launched at the XX GIORNATA PER L’ALZHEIMER (XX ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE DAY) held at the headquarters of the Golgi-Cenci Foundation  

The latest “branch” of the Pronto Alzheimer helpline (Italy’s first-ever telephone helpline for Alzheimer’s disease) is being launched, in collaboration with Federazione Alzheimer Italia, in Abbiategrasso. The aim of the service is to offer psychosocial counselling and advice to those who live with or close to a person with dementia (relatives, home carers, etc.), informing them about their nearest local services and giving them information about Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. The helpline, organised as part of the collaboration between Federazione Alzheimer Italia and the Golgi-Cenci Foundation, will be manned by people who are professionally trained to answer callers’ questions.
